Uncle E came in town on Fri April 3 for Passover. We had a really nice Passover Seder at home the day after we left the hospital. Both my Grandma's put in a lot of work to set things up and cook for the Seder. I slept/cried throughout the Seder, but was happy to be there with everyone.
I had my first doctor appointment the second day I was home. The doctor said I looked perfect and healthy. My weight was down 9 percent from birth weight , but that is expected. I got my first shot and somehow Hannah got my lollipop. Lucky how that worked out for her.
On April 6, I had my Bris . It turned out perfect. We celebrated with family at our home. Rabbi Annie and Rabbi Ari led a beautiful ceremony including guitar music/ singing. I was given my Hebrew name and Mom and Dad shared the meaning of my names.
Here are a few thoughts Mom and Dad shared about my name :

After the ceremony everyone celebrated and ate delicious desserts while I recovered upstairs. I heard the chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered matzah were a big hit. Hannah sometimes still asks for chocolate strawberries after dinner to this day.
I've gone on lots of walks. Hannah likes to help push the stroller when we go. I still sleep most if the day.
We went to Mom's favorite photographer to have my newborn photos taken. We also took some really nice family photos.

Dr. Koush was really happy with my growth at my two week check up. I have been eating well and regained my birth weight plus some.
We got my birth certificate on April 21 and the very next day I got my passport! I think I probably set a record for youngest person to get a Passport. Dad is up to his favorite hobby of vacation planning. He is ready to show me the world and I will start young :)
